EXCELLENT!! The staff at The Wellington Hotel in Ocean City, MD were very attentive. We had a question regarding the a/c, they were in our room within 2 minutes, literally! Very attentive to our needs. When we arrived back late, they saw us looking for a parking spot and the staff member took his time to walk out to the parking lot to let us know where we could park offsite (across the road – very accessible). I feel they went above and beyond to assure our stay was perfect. I definitely would recommend them to others vacationing in OC.
The rooms are on the smaller side, but are very clean and comfortable, don’t let that turn you away! They really do look like the photos online, another plus – to get what you expect. One thing we learned, the outlet in the bathroom is connected to the light switch! We thought the outlet was not working, we just had to turn the light on. My only suggestion to them would be to get a folding luggage stand; and if that’s all I can recommend to them, they are doing an excellent job! Location is perfect – only one block (1 minute walk) from the boardwalk and right next to a beverage store. This is not an oceanview location, they do not have balconies overlooking the ocean, but still not a reason to overlook this gem of a hotel. The price we paid was 1/2 that of the other hotels around too! Highly recommend!
